What are the differences between Preinstalled SP2 and SP2 upgrade

Questions for Vista users
Even after installing the drivers and the software, though, I still can't see TV on my computer. I can't get a straight answer out of Comcast's tech support folks on this question. Apparently, there's no one on duty this weekend that knows anything about FP extensions. WinXP Pro SP2 Auto Update has Destroyed My D-Link Wireless Driver
Clients are Win98 and XP pro. Internet access works just fine but WinXP Pro clients can't use auto update. Though Automatic update is enable aon all XP clients, it won't update them. I noticed the yellow icon next to the clock showing progress from 3 to 11 % and it disapear without updating the PC.
